SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY
There is an unmet need in our community for families with disabled children and adults. RCM’s IMPACT Buddies Ministry exists to provide an inclusive environment for individuals with special needs. We are not only here to serve individuals with special needs but also to serve their families as they participate in our worship services.
We do this by providing a buddy system where individuals are matched with an adult or young adult buddy who can assist them during service and are there in the event they need quiet time. Buddies are provided for Sunday worship, Bible study services and most of our connect groups. On most occasions, buddies are on standby to help families that require assistance.
It is our goal to help anyone who faces unique challenges related to physical, intellectual, or emotional needs that would benefit from additional support. The impact we make by helping others hear the gospel and experience love and acceptance during worship and fellowship provides a unique pathway to Jesus.

Common Questions
Do I need to contact the church prior to attending in order to have a buddy available?
It will be helpful if we know in advance that you would like to have a buddy and share a brief description of what is needed. This helps us to make sure we have the best possible match for you.
What does an Impact Buddy do?
Impact Buddies are volunteers who simply act as a helper. The primary goal of our Impact Buddies is to provide an environment where people of all ages can have their needs met so that they can hear the gospel in a way that is clear to them.
For what ages are buddies provided?
We strive to provide a buddy for all children ages 0-18. For adult care, please email us.
Can I meet my buddy prior to church?
Yes, we encourage you to spend a few minutes getting acquainted with your buddy. This will provide open communication and any need to address specific accomodations prior to worship services. It would be beneficial for you to meet your buddy at least 15 minutes prior to the start of service at the front doors of the church.
